I’m beginning to love my Asus Eeepc. I debating buying 5 for my classroom. I started liking it a whole bunch more once I installed the eeeXubuntu operating system on it. There are some compromises like small screen and limited battery, but the low price and rock-solid Linux OS make a winner. It is fun to watch the kids ignore a $1000 iBook to play around with $350 EeePC.

Hi Tim – did your EeePC arrive? What do you make of it? So far I am impressed with how adaptable it is, but am less impressed with the overall battery life between charges. It would be good to know how you get on with yours.
