Over at We Are The Media, they are asking folks to document their July 4th experiences and tag them on Technorati with the tag: July4us. In my neighborhood in Portland, they hold a parade of kids on bikes, tricycles, in wagons and on scooters. Somehow firefighters in a fire truck always show up to lead the parade and then after two trips around the block, they hook up their truck to a fire hydrant and then the kids get to run through the spray from the water cannon. It's a great time for everyone. I'll head down tomorrow and grad some video and pictures, but for now you can enjoy a look at the fun from two years ago.
